Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Table Tennis HQ mobile application, website, and related products and services (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, accessing, or using Table Tennis HQ, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Table Tennis HQ is a sports analytics and community application focused on table tennis.

The Service may provide features including:

• Table tennis match statistics and results
• Player performance data
• Historical match information
• Head-to-head analytics
• Statistical trends
• Player profiles
• Predictive or analytical tools
• Saved filters and favorites
• Public user profiles
• Followers and following
• User-posted plays, predictions, or analysis
• Community and social features
• Premium subscription features

Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed from time to time.

Table Tennis HQ is not a sportsbook, casino, gambling operator, or wagering service.

We do not accept wagers, process bets, hold wagering funds, or place wagers on behalf of users.

2. Informational and Entertainment Purposes Only

Statistics, predictions, trends, models, user-posted plays, and other information available through Table Tennis HQ are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Nothing available through the Service constitutes:

• Gambling or betting advice
• Financial advice
• Investment advice
• Legal advice
• Professional advice
• A guarantee of any result

Sports outcomes are inherently uncertain.

No prediction, model, statistic, historical trend, user post, or other information available through Table Tennis HQ guarantees a particular result.

You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on information obtained through the Service.

If you participate in sports wagering outside of Table Tennis HQ, you are solely responsible for complying with the laws applicable to you and for determining whether such activity is legal in your jurisdiction.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Table Tennis HQ.

By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.

Users under 18 may not create an account or use the Service.

We may suspend or terminate an account if we reasonably believe the account is being used by someone who does not meet our eligibility requirements.

4. User Accounts

Certain features require a Table Tennis HQ account.

When creating and maintaining your account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Maintain only accounts you are authorized to use
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Not share your password or authentication credentials with others
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised
• Accept responsibility for activity occurring through your account

You may not impersonate another person, organization, business, public figure, Table Tennis HQ employee, moderator, or another user.

We may restrict usernames, profile pictures, or profile information that violate these Terms or create a reasonable risk of confusion, impersonation, abuse, or fraud.

5. Public Profiles

Table Tennis HQ includes public social features.

Depending on the features you use, information visible to other users may include:

• Username
• Profile picture
• Account statistics
• Achievements or badges
• Followers
• Accounts you follow
• Posted plays
• Predictions
• Public activity
• Other content you choose to publish

You understand that information published through public features may be viewed by other users.

Other users may also independently screenshot, save, or share information that you make public.

Do not publish information you consider private, confidential, sensitive, or personally identifying.

6. User-Generated Content

Table Tennis HQ may allow you to create, upload, publish, display, or share content ("User Content").

User Content may include:

• Posted plays
• Predictions
• Analysis
• Captions
• Comments, if supported
• Profile pictures
• Usernames
• Images
• Reactions
• Profile information
• Other material submitted through the Service

You retain ownership of User Content that you own.

You are solely responsible for User Content you publish through your account.

By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have permission to use it
• Your use of the content does not violate another person's rights
• The content does not violate these Terms
• The content does not violate applicable law

7. License to User Content

By publishing or uploading User Content through Table Tennis HQ, you grant Table Tennis HQ a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, distribute, format, and otherwise use that User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, moderate, promote, and improve the Service.

For example, this license allows us to display your profile picture on your profile, display your posted plays to other users, and format content for different screen sizes.

This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Table Tennis HQ.

The license ends when your User Content is deleted from our systems, except where continued retention is reasonably necessary for backups, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or content previously shared outside of our control.

8. Community Standards

You may not use Table Tennis HQ to publish, upload, transmit, promote, or distribute content that:

• Is unlawful
• Threatens violence or physical harm
• Harasses, bullies, stalks, or intimidates another person
• Promotes hatred or discrimination against protected groups
• Is sexually explicit or pornographic
• Exploits or sexualizes minors
• Encourages self-harm or other dangerous behavior
• Contains graphic or gratuitous violence
• Promotes terrorism or violent extremist organizations
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or intentionally misleading
• Impersonates another person or organization
• Contains another person's private or confidential information without authorization
• Violates intellectual property rights
• Contains malicious software or harmful code
• Is spam or unauthorized advertising
• Is designed to manipulate engagement or artificially inflate followers or activity
• Promotes illegal goods, services, or activity
• Facilitates unlawful gambling activity
• Attempts to buy, sell, or transfer Table Tennis HQ accounts without permission
• Attempts to evade a suspension, ban, block, or moderation action
• Otherwise creates a meaningful risk to users or the Service

We may establish additional community guidelines as the Service develops.

9. Posted Plays and Predictions

Users may be able to publish sports plays, predictions, picks, statistics, or opinions.

User-posted plays are User Content created by individual users.

Unless explicitly identified otherwise, they are not created, verified, endorsed, guaranteed, or recommended by Table Tennis HQ.

Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Displayed records, win percentages, statistics, streaks, or similar information may be affected by data errors, grading errors, missing information, technical issues, or other circumstances.

Users may not intentionally falsify results, manipulate records, misrepresent performance, or use deceptive methods to create a misleading performance history.

Table Tennis HQ may correct, remove, or restrict content or account statistics where we reasonably believe manipulation, errors, or abuse have occurred.

10. Reporting Content and Users

Table Tennis HQ may provide tools that allow users to report accounts or User Content that may violate these Terms.

Reports may be reviewed by Table Tennis HQ.

Submitting a report does not guarantee that content or an account will be removed.

We may consider factors including:

• The content itself
• Context surrounding the content
• Account history
• Previous violations
• User safety
• Severity of the conduct
• Applicable law
• These Terms and our community rules

You may not intentionally submit false, fraudulent, or abusive reports.

11. Blocking Users

Table Tennis HQ may allow users to block other accounts.

Blocking may restrict another user's ability to view or interact with you or your content, depending on the features available.

Users may not attempt to evade another user's block through alternate accounts or other methods.

12. Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but do not assume an obligation to pre-screen every piece of User Content.

We may review, restrict, hide, remove, disable access to, or otherwise moderate User Content when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or our community standards.

We may also:

• Issue warnings
• Restrict individual features
• Restrict posting privileges
• Remove profile pictures or usernames
• Limit account visibility
• Temporarily suspend accounts
• Permanently terminate accounts

Moderation decisions may be made using automated systems, human review, or a combination of both where appropriate.

We may take immediate action when we reasonably believe content or conduct creates a safety, security, legal, or abuse risk.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Use the Service for fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or another user's account
• Circumvent security measures
• Interfere with servers, networks, or application functionality
• Introduce malicious software, scripts, or code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain application source code except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or automatically extract information from the Service without written permission
• Operate bots or automated accounts without authorization
• Collect information about other users without permission
• Sell or commercially exploit Table Tennis HQ data without written authorization
• Copy substantial portions of our databases
• Manipulate rankings, followers, engagement, records, statistics, or other application features
• Circumvent subscription or access restrictions
• Abuse reporting, blocking, moderation, or support systems
• Use the Service in a manner that could damage Table Tennis HQ or interfere with another person's use of the Service

14. Sports Data and Data Accuracy

Table Tennis HQ may display sports information obtained from third-party data providers and may create its own statistical analysis based on available sports information.

We attempt to provide useful and accurate information, but sports data can contain:

• Delays
• Errors
• Missing information
• Incorrect results
• Schedule changes
• Player-name inconsistencies
• Provider outages
• Data corrections
• Other inaccuracies

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or timeliness of sports information.

Analytics and calculated statistics may also be affected by incomplete or inaccurate source information.

You should independently verify information when accuracy is important to a decision you are making.

15. Pro Subscription

Table Tennis HQ may offer a paid subscription currently referred to as "Pro" or another subscription name displayed within the Service.

Subscription features, pricing, billing periods, and availability will be displayed before purchase.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Subscription charges are billed through the platform where you purchased the subscription: the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our website
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel
• Renewal charges are billed to the payment method used for the original purchase
• You may cancel at any time. After you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the billing period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again
• Fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial or unused billing periods, except where required by applicable law
• Deleting Table Tennis HQ does not automatically cancel a subscription
• Deleting your Table Tennis HQ account does not necessarily cancel an App Store, Google Play, or website subscription

Purchases on our website. When you subscribe on our website, your payment is processed by Stripe, and your subscription is managed through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full card number. You can cancel or update your payment method at any time from the "Manage subscription" link on the Membership page of our website, or by contacting us. Your website subscription unlocks Pro on the website and in the app on the same Table Tennis HQ account.

Purchases in the apps. Apple App Store purchases are subject to Apple's applicable subscription and payment terms, and Google Play purchases are subject to Google's. You manage and cancel those subscriptions through your Apple or Google account, and any refund request for those purchases is handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Where required, we will provide notice of subscription price changes.

We may modify which features are included with a particular subscription, subject to applicable law and platform requirements.

16. Trials, Promotions, and Promotional Offers

Table Tennis HQ may offer free trials, promotional subscription periods, discount codes, introductory pricing, or other promotional offers.

Eligibility and duration may vary.

Unless otherwise stated, a trial or promotional subscription may convert to a paid subscription at the price presented when the offer was accepted unless cancelled before renewal.

Promotional offers may:

• Be limited to eligible users
• Expire
• Be limited to one use
• Be withdrawn where permitted
• Be subject to additional terms presented with the offer

17. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and third-party material, Table Tennis HQ and its associated software, interface, branding, graphics, designs, databases, logos, features, and original content are owned by or licensed to Table Tennis HQ.

These materials may be protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Table Tennis HQ for its intended purposes.

They do not transfer ownership of Table Tennis HQ intellectual property to you.

You may not reproduce, sell, license, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit our intellectual property unless we expressly authorize you to do so.

18. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights.

If you believe content available through Table Tennis HQ infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, contact us using the information listed in the Contact section of these Terms.

Your notice should identify:

• The work or material you believe is being infringed
• The content you believe infringes your rights
• Where the content appears within Table Tennis HQ
• Your contact information
• Any additional information reasonably necessary for us to evaluate the request

We may remove or restrict allegedly infringing material where appropriate.

Repeated intellectual property violations may result in account termination.

19. Privacy

Our collection and handling of personal information is described in the Table Tennis HQ Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

Public information you voluntarily publish through Table Tennis HQ may be visible to other users as described in the Privacy Policy.

20. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Table Tennis HQ account through the account-deletion functionality made available within the Service or through other deletion methods we provide.

Account deletion may permanently remove information associated with your account, including:

• Profile information
• Posted plays
• User-generated content
• Followers and following information
• Favorites
• Saved preferences
• Account statistics
• Other account-associated information

Some limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of these Terms.

Deleting your account does not necessarily cancel an active App Store, Google Play, or website subscription.

You are responsible for separately managing your subscription through the platform where you purchased it. For website subscriptions, cancel before deleting your account, or contact us and we will help.

21. Third-Party Services

Table Tennis HQ relies on or may integrate with third-party services.

These may include services related to:

• Cloud infrastructure
• Authentication
• Database storage
• Notifications
• Subscriptions
• Sports data
• Analytics
• Crash reporting
• Websites and community services

Examples may include Google Firebase, Google Cloud, Apple, Google Play, Stripe (website payments), RevenueCat (subscription management), Discord, and sports-data providers.

Your interactions with third-party services may also be governed by those companies' own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services that are outside our control.

22. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to websites, Discord communities, social networks, stores, or other external services.

Table Tennis HQ does not control every third-party website or service linked through the application.

Accessing a third-party service is at your own discretion and may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.

23. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace parts of the Service.

We do not guarantee that:

• Every feature will always be available
• All sports data providers will remain available
• Every match or player will be supported
• The Service will operate without interruptions
• Features will remain unchanged
• Historical information will always remain available

Maintenance, service-provider issues, internet outages, technical failures, or other circumstances may temporarily affect availability.

24. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Table Tennis HQ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no guarantee or warranty that:

• The Service will always be available
• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Sports information will always be accurate
• Predictions or analytics will produce any particular result
• User Content will be accurate or reliable
• Defects will always be corrected
• The Service will meet every user's requirements

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties that would otherwise be implied by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

25. User Interactions

Users are responsible for their own interactions with other users.

Table Tennis HQ does not endorse individual users or guarantee:

• Their identity
• Their accuracy
• Their predictions
• Their intentions
• Their representations
• Their behavior

You should exercise appropriate judgment when interacting with other users or relying on User Content.

If another user violates these Terms or engages in abusive behavior, you may use available reporting or blocking tools.

26. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Table Tennis HQ and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your inability to use the Service
• Sports-data errors
• Analytics or predictions
• User Content
• Actions of other users
• Account suspension
• Loss of data
• Service interruptions
• Decisions made based on information available through the Service

This includes loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses where exclusion is permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

27. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Table Tennis HQ and its owners, operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content
• Your misuse of the Service
• Your violation of another person's rights
• Your violation of applicable law

This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

28. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Table Tennis HQ at any time.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to some or all of the Service when we reasonably believe that:

• You violated these Terms
• You violated community standards
• Your account creates a security risk
• Your account is involved in fraudulent activity
• Your account is used for harassment or abuse
• You are attempting to evade a previous suspension or ban
• Your account violates applicable law
• Action is reasonably necessary to protect users or the Service

Depending on the severity and circumstances, enforcement may occur without prior warning.

Termination may result in the loss of access to User Content and other account information.

Where required by law, rights that survive account termination remain unaffected.

29. Enforcement

Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms in one circumstance does not waive our right to enforce it later.

We may consider the severity, frequency, context, and history of violations when determining appropriate enforcement action.

We may update our moderation and enforcement processes as the Service evolves.

30. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:

• New features
• Changes to social functionality
• Changes to subscription offerings
• Changes to legal requirements
• Changes to our policies
• Changes to service providers
• Security or safety requirements

When these Terms are updated, the "Last Updated" date will be changed.

If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice through the Service or another appropriate method.

Where required, we may ask you to affirmatively accept updated Terms before continuing to use certain features.

31. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the laws of your place of residence provide rights that cannot legally be waived.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection laws.

32. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

33. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for particular features or promotions, constitute the agreement between you and Table Tennis HQ regarding your use of the Service.
